Kiz8 built payment alerting with no migration downtime: events arrive in 6–22 seconds, rules evaluate in <1 second, and ingest row operations fell 25×.

Problem

Replace the Tinybird and Prefect alerting stack without interrupting payment monitoring.

Approach

A streaming engine on Durable Objects checks conversion, declines and provider health each minute. A Slack bot lets users subscribe, acknowledge and drill into alerts.

Measured outcome

6–22 s event delivery; <1 s evaluation; 25× fewer row reads and writes per ingest
