Kiz8 built daily clearing reconciliation that cut a full working day for two people to under 30 minutes for one, using read-only lakehouse access.

Problem

Finance reconciled transactions manually in Excel against a provider’s registry.

Approach

Match amount, fee and status directly from the CDC lakehouse with read-only access. Queue, totals and exception views let finance review differences and record expected amounts in an append-only Iceberg table. 31 synthetic scenarios guard the logic in CI.

2 people × a full working day → 1 person × less than 30 minutes
